While I think a trip to Cafe Du Monde is something anyone visiting New Orleans should do once, I can't say it was my favorite place. If you don't mind pigeons walking around at your feet and flapping their wings in your face or powdered sugar covering the table, dishes, napkin holders, and if you don't have to use the washroom while you are there (very long line), you might enjoy yourself. The cafe au lait was good, but I wasn't a big fan of the greasy beignets. Really enjoyed the jazz performers on the street and the other little shops nearby.
